Evening
I worked all week and decided to slip in the stand after work. Within about 10 minutes of getting situated I looked up and there he was standing broadside in the corn pile. I zoomed in and gently squeezed the trigger and he immediately fell to the ground. I never have gotten buck fever before the harvest. I always get buck fever after I squeeze the trigger must be the smell of gun powder and a big horned buck. It always take me about 5 minutes to calm down enough to climb down. I love the outdoors and I’d consider myself a avid outdoorsman. If I had a nugget of wisdom to give a young hunter it would be to never give up put in the work and stay after em.
