This was Emma Lou’s first deer. She’s been working with her dad and practicing with targets but really wanted to get a deer this year. At 8 years old it’s hard for her to sit still so she had to take her shoes off in the stand which she wasn’t too happy about. 4 bucks came out not long after getting in the stand. Emma had to stand to shoot because the windows were so tall. She dropped the buck right in the field and was tickled. The buck should have been a 9 point but one spike was broken off. After taking to the processor, she wanted “to see her options” on how to mount it. She’s insisting on pink to be incorporated on her new dress all decor!
