On Dec. 30 Emersyn Edwards of Union County was able to shoot her first deer. Emersyn has hunted hard this season with tons of sightings. None of these previous hunts panned out for her first deer. On the evening of the 30th as shooting light waned this buck finally walked out into the field. She was able to make a perfect double lung shot. She was shooting a lever action 44 mag that her dad, uncle, and grandfather all killed there first deer with. Congratulations Emmy on a great first deer.
