Fourteen year-old Delia DuBose with her first deer, a nice 8-point Lowcountry buck taken on Good Hope Plantation in Jasper Co., South Carolina. Delia put plenty of time in the stand this season and waited on the right one to show. She had passed on several does and smaller bucks in the hopes of taking a nice buck for her first deer. When this one slipped out of a cane thicket chasing a doe on the afternoon of Nov 20th, Delia knew it was the one she’d been waiting on. A perfect double lung shot with her .350 Legend sealed the deal.
