My name is Gabe Fawcett and on November 22, 2025 I shot a buck of a lifetime. It was opening day in Crumpler, NC (Ashe County) and I had passed on a few smaller deer that evening. I was beginning to regret my decision on passing on those deer when this 191 pound monster came out of the wood lines along side a large doe. I took a shot without hesitation, and landed the biggest deer of my life and my first deer in over 8 years.
