Chatham County buck green-scored 145 inches

Patrick Monahan of Raleigh, NC kills a Chatham County 8-point buck on Sept. 7, 2024. He shot the buck with a bow from 20 yards away while perched in a tree stand.

The buck has been green-scored at 145 inches. Monahan said it was one of the most enjoyable hunts he’s ever had, and his first trophy to make the most elite list of archery hunters.

“This was one of my all-time favorite hunts,” he said. “And it was my first ever Pope and Young harvest.”
