Saw him last year as a 3 year old and let him walk. He had been all over my trail cameras this summer and the days leading up to the hunt.

Charlie has been hunting for a long time with his bow and has taken a few does, but never a buck. We decided this buck was a shooter this year and had patterned him by the time youth day came around. Like clockwork, the buck came in at 7:00 PM with 4 other deer, two of which were other nice bucks. Everyone was watching the buck on the cellular camera and he made the shot count at 25 yards. To be safe, Charlie backed out for the night and came back in the morning with a dog and found the buck only 200 yards away. Pretty great deer for your first buck, especially with a bow!
