Morning

We’ve been watching this deer on camera for about a week only coming out in the middle of the night. We set up on the morning of 10-19-2024 in a pine thicket off of a right a way. The deer was slipping through the swamp around 815 and I just happened to turn and look over my left shoulder and caught a glimpse of him. I grabbed my rifle and turned so that I was able to get a shot on him and he stopped broad side and gave me the perfect opportunity. I took the shot and he dropped in his tracks. What makes this so special to me is that this buck is what they call a cryptorchid buck. Which means they never lose their antlers or the velvet. This deer weighed 202lbs and is very interesting in the horn department. It’s very rare you kill one of these studs.
