My father, brother and myself have followed this buck for months but have been unsuccessful as he rarely showed himself in day hours and far more inconsistent than any other identified this season. The time was right Saturday morning as he finally showed at 6:37am. I made the shot at about 45 yards and my dad was thrilled to meet me at the stand a little later. My father is 73 and hunted this dense swamp his entire life and this special deer exceeded his wildest expectation! Hard work paid off this season and it is his and my brothers as much as it is mine. Ron is a special deer!
