November 3rd, 2025 me and my dad decided to go do something we both enjoy, hunt. the stand i sat in this day, just so happened to be the stand i killed my cow-horn in last year around the same time, so i honestly didn’t have any high hopes, i just wanted to be able to appreciate gods creation in a different setting. it wasn’t until halfway through my hunt, i heard grunting and limbs cracking. i still didn’t think anything of it, i had never seen anything bigger than a cow-horn in that stand, so i payed the ruckus no attention. about 30 minutes later i see “earnest” start to walk towards a pine tree that just so happened to be directly in front of where i was sitting. i immediately starting shaking out of excitement and disbelief. i waited until i had the opportunity to draw back and release, still shaking. before i knew it, my dad, some of his buddies, and myself, where tracking my proudest moment. at 15 yards, i was able to land a perfect buck and that is a memory i will cherish forever!
