I have had this buck on camera since September. The first picture I got of him I knew he was the one to chase. Only had nighttime pictures of him, he stopped showing up almost all of December. With it being New Year’s Eve I knew I needed to get up and hunt the last 2 days. He walked out and I instantly knew it was him from his long G2. First time shooting from a tree stand a couple hundred yards away, I missed the first shot too high. I settled and put the Nikon on this Ruger American 308 in just the right spot. Knocked him down but you know how tough these white tailed deer are. He got up and went about 40 yards into the woods before crashing. I could not be more blessed to take this beautiful buck!
