Evening
on September 14th he showed up with his bachelor group at 6:00am and then again at 12:18pm and I knew I had to get in there that evening to kill him and he was going to be bedded close to where I was hunting him. So around 3:45pm I went in to hang a set cause the stand in there was going to be way to close to kill him so I hung a set and saddle hunted after watching deer all evening around 7:10 the bucks that ran with him came walking down the trail into the Peterson wildlife management food plot (best in the business) and he was not behind them like normal then all of a sudden he popped out on the other end of the plot and I knew I was going to have to make a quick shot as he was going to try and come around to get the wind. So I stopped him he was quartering away once I shot I seen arrow was stuck in his other shoulder as he ran off so I called my family and friends to let them know that I had just shot the best deer of my life
