Alan Mashburn killed a trophy Lee County, NC buck on Nov. 28, 2022. It’s a buck he’d watched for several years. He passed on numerous opportunities to shoot it, allowing it to reach trophy size.

“I first saw this deer in 2019 and knew he’d be something one day, but I wanted him to grow a little bit more. I passed him up in 2020, but hunting him in 2021. I finally sealed the deal this evening (Nov. 28). I’m thankful for the opportunity to take a buck like this one,” he said.
