Stanly County buck green-scored 167 inches

Levi Parker, 7-years-old, killed a massive Stanly County buck on Oct. 28, 2023. The buck has been green-scored at 167 inches. The young hunter had a chance to shoot the buck during the 2022 season, but decided to let it walk, hoping to see it again this year.

And after capturing about 60 trail camera photos of the buck this season, his wish came true on Oct. 28. The buck offered Parker a clean shot from 40 yards away. He took it down with his Traditions Buckstalker XT .50 caliber muzzleloader.

Parker has killed numerous big bucks in his budding hunting career, and has killed them with a range of tools, including crossbows, muzzleloaders and conventional rifles.
