Addilyn Williams, 11-years-old, killed a nice Vale, NC buck in late September of the 2026 deer hunting season. It was a buck she was targeting when youth season opened.
“Addilyn had been watching and tracking this deer all year long with her dad,” said her mom, Crystal Williams. “She even has a camera set up to watch the deer on her tablet. She learned its routine and enjoyed putting claims, lol. Through her dedication and passion for hunting, she finally took him down on Youth Day. Fun fact: her middle name is Reed, deer spelled backward. Hunting is not only in her name, but also in her genes.”
