2024 Dixie Deer Classic award winners: youth hunters

Five youth hunters won awards at the 2024 Dixie Deer Classic, held at the NC State Fairgrounds March 1 – 3.

Ransom Summers won Best by Crossbow, Typical Male Youth Award for his Orange County buck that officially scored 140 2/8 inches.

Levi Parker won Best by Muzzleloader, Typical Male Youth Award for his Stanly County buck, which scored 150 5/8 inches.

With a 149 6/8-inch buck from Rockingham County, Gavin Phillips won Best by Gun, Typical Male youth Award.

Brianna Turner took the honors for Best by Gun, Typical Female Youth category with a 130-inch buck from Randolph County.

Ivah Litwin’s Anson County buck that scored 149 2/8 inches won Best by Gun Non-typical, Female Youth Award.
