WAVE PAVER leads Release Division after Day 4 of Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament

WAVE PAVER climbed the leaderboard

At the beginning of Day 5 of the 2025 Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, WAVE PAVER, a 75-foot Bayliss captained by Russell Sinclair, climbed the leaderboard of the Release Division, ending the day with 2450 points.

A total of 122 billfish were released on Day 4 by all of the Big Rock participants, bringing the 4-day total for the event to 259, a stellar pace. During the 2024 Big Rock, the entire billfish tally was 268.

Day 4 did not see any change to the leaderboard of the Heaviest Blue Marlin section of the tournament. BANKWALKER still leads there with their 449.7-pound blue marlin caught on Day 3 by Lizzie Montague.

SEA WISH leads the Heaviest Dolphin division with the 47.2-pound fish they caught on Day 3.

SMOKER has a commanding lead in the Heaviest Tuna section with a 117.4-pounder.

Haviest Wahoo is currently led by BULL PEN with a 60.7-pound fish.
