Joshua Mitchell (left) from Oak Island, Edwin Burnett (middle) from Oak Island, and Haskell Whitaker (right) from rock hill, SC with an estimated 130lb tarpon caught near The Cape Fear Inlet (Southport) on a dead menhaden fishing on the bottom. It was caught with the help of Billy Goss from Long Bay Fishing Company, who is a local charter captain in the area. This was the second one hooked. The first one was estimated 180+ lbs.
