My dad Junior Wilkerson of Hillsborough, NC wanted me to send in his picture from his “fishing trip of a lifetime” this fall (October) with Noah Lynk of Noah’s Ark Fishing Charters out of Cape Point Marina in Harkers Island, N.C.
It was his last trip. He passed away from pancreatic cancer on Jan. 1, 2021, and he got the Saltwater Slam in the course of a 3 hour time span with flounder, red drum and trout. He also pulled in a false albacore. He wanted to make sure Noah and the Marina were mentioned because they were so good to him.
