Spring brings two things to mind for South Carolina outdoorsman: turkey hunting and big bass. So SouthCarolinaSportsman.com has launched two online contests to celebrate these two hallmarks of the season.
“We all take photos and videos of our time afield, and there’s no better way to show off than to upload these memories on the best outdoors Web site in the state,” SouthCarolinaSportsman.com’s Jeff Dennis said. “We want to thank our loyal registered users, so we also are giving away monthly prizes for each contest.”
For hunters, there are two options within the Turkey Photo & Video Contest: A photo contest and a video contest.
“Turkey hunting makes for great opportunities not only for trophy photos but for videos of hunts, as well,” Dennis said. “So feel free to enter both parts of the contest.”
Monthly winners in the photo contest will be decided through voting sessions in which SouthCarolinaSportsman.com administrators will choose the three photos for users to vote on. The vid contest will be decided by the number of views each video receives during the applicable contest period.
Monthly winners for each portion of the contest will win $25 Sportsman Outdoor Store gift coupons good for all manner of Official Sportsman Gear.
In the Big Bass Contest, anglers can upload photos of their trophy bass.
“This is the time of year when big sows move up and spawn, making them accessible to fishermen,” Dennis said. “So upload your photos and have a chance at winning monthly gift coupons.”
Each monthly winner will pocket a $25 Sportsman Outdoor Store gift coupon.
