Women’s only hunter education course in Charlotte

Space is limited for the women's only hunter education program this Saturday in Charlotte.

Introductory archery instruction also provided

Ladies, have you wanted to take a hunter education course but didn’t want to feel intimidated or singled out among a room full of men? The NCWRC and Bass Pro Shops are teaming up to fix that problem. This Saturday, Sept 19, they will hold a women’s only hunter education course that will cover everything from firearms safety to different methods of hunting.

Introductory archery lessons will also be covered.

The course is free, but ladies looking to attend should sign up right away. Space is limited, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and pre-registration is mandatory.

“I work in an office full of men, and I’d rather not carry that over when going to a class such as this. Sometimes men can just be intimidating or extra-macho when doing something that all of them don’t see as a woman’s sport. This takes that out of the equation and gives women the opportunity to complete this training program in a stress-free way,” said Newton’s Nancy Grier.

The deadline to apply for the class is Sept 17.
