Proceeds from one print will benefit N.C. Wildlife Habitat Foundation
The Bob Timberlake Gallery in Lexington will hold a Sportsman’s Open House on Saturday, Sept. 13, to celebrate the release of a collector’s set of prints featuring outdoor scenes, with the proceeds from the sale of one print going to the N.C. Wildlife Habitat Foundation.
Timberlake painted “A Resting Place” to depict blind No. 6 at Camp Bryan Farms in eastern North Carolina. Eddie Bridges, the executive director of the NCWHF and a member at Camp Bryan Farms, was struck by the print’s beauty, and Timberlake decided that proceeds from the print’s release benefit the NCWHF’s conservation efforts.
The Sportsman’s Open House will last until 5 p.m. next Saturday and will feature work by a number of renowned turkey call, duck call and duck decoy makers and other woodworkers and artisans.
The three prints in the “Sportsman’s Series” release will be available for purchase through licensed dealers, the Bob Timberlake Gallery or at www.bobtimberlake.com.
Proceeds from “A Resting Place” have been earmarked for a significant NCWHF conservation project that is in development. This project will be the single-largest habitat project to date for the foundation and will involve multiple conservation organizations across the state. Details will be released in the fall.
