January issue of South Carolina Sportsman full of hunting, fishing tactics

Lake Wylie kicks off 12-month freshwater series.

A 12-month series aimed at helping South Carolina fishermen catch more fish in freshwater lakes around the state will debut in the January edition of South Carolina Sportsman.

The first “Freshwater Series” feature shows fishermen different places and techniques for catching crappie, bass and catfish on Lake Wylie.

Different lakes will be featured in subsequent issues.

Also in the January issue, learn techniques for catching redfish in the waters around Hilton Head, and sheepshead around the rocks and docks in Charleston waters.
