10-point buck was nicknamed Sven
Andrew Molina of Franklinville, NC killed a 10-point buck in Randolph County, NC on Sept. 12, 2026.
He shot the buck with a PSE bow during an afternoon hunt while sitting in an elevated stand from 25 yards away.
Molina summed up the hunt with these words:
“It’s the first buck that I have ever killed. Sitting in the stand after two hours, Sven and another smaller buck walked into the food plot. Sitting in a climbing stand about 20 ft in elevation, I released an arrow while shaking in my boots. We tracked for it for .3 miles into a powerline brush and there he laid. Shoutout to a good friend Tim for helping me track and push down all the briars and brush that we went through.”
Molina is now entered in our Bag-A-Buck Contest, and is eligible to win our monthly prize pack, which includes a set of Ultimate Eyes & Ears Combo from ShellShock Pro, a YETI Rambler bottle, a prize package from Buck Commander and Duck Commander, and a Carolina Sportsman hat, as well as our Grand Prize, a 2-day hunt for two to Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge in Chesterfield County, SC.
