Male and Female High Overall will win new shotguns

South Carolina’s newest, state-of-the-art skeet and trap range, the State Shooting Complex, is holding a free grand opening skeet shoot on Sept. 27, 2025 at its facility located at 1832 VanBoklen Road in Eastover, SC.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shooters will compete in a 4-round, 100-target skeet tournament. Numerous door prizes will be given out, and the top male and female shooters will each take home a new shotgun.

Food trucks will be on site, and the first rotation of shooters begins at 8 a.m. Shooting will continue until the awards ceremony at 6 p.m.

The State Shooting Complex is operated by the SCNDR and features 8 skeet and trap fields, a 5 stand, and an outdoor pavilion. It is open to the general public Tuesday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
