We had a great day of fishing on the Wateree River with Wolfe’s Guide Service to close out the 2023 striper season for the Santee Cooper System, which includes the Congaree and Wateree rivers. The bite from March through June 15 includes lots of topwater action, so this is a trip you don’t want to miss. Wolfe’s Guide Service has everything you need, including a jet-drive outboard which is absolutely necessary in this section of the river.
