“Everything outdoors” show features vendors, exhibits, seminars

Who has cabin fever from this crazy weather? Longer, warmer, and more adventurous days are just around the corner as spring tries to gain a foothold. And what better way to get prepared for the outdoors than the Pee Dee Outdoor Classic? It’s the newest outdoor show in the Carolinas.

The 2019 Pee Dee Outdoor Classic is this Friday, March 8 through Sunday, March 10 in Florence, S.C. at the Florence Center. With over 100 outdoor-related vendors, this show is sure to help you scratch that outdoor itch, and to get all geared up for the spring, summer, and fall.

A visit to this show wouldn’t be complete without stopping by the Naturally Outdoors booth. The premier gear outfitter in the Pee Dee will be there with a host of top-notch equipment to get you ready for kayaking, camping, hiking, and just generally exploring the outdoors. These guys aren’t just selling stuff — they live the lifestyle and can provide a wealth of knowledge about anything related to the outdoors.

This show will also be a great time to talk to one of South Carolina’s top turkey call makers, John Tanner with John Tanner Calls of Hemingway. Whether you’re a turkey hunter or know one, one of these handmade calls will be a treasured gift that will last a lifetime.

This show features too many highlights to list

A trip to this show wouldn’t be complete without stopping by the Low Country Wildlife TV booth to talk hunting, fishing, and trapping “LCW style” with television star Stacy Atkinson. He’ll be glad to share what’s happening in the outdoor world throughout the state.

Everybody loves horses! So stop by the Carolina Marsh Tacky booth in the outdoor lot. Did you know the marsh tacky is the State Heritage Horse of South Carolina? This breed has a very interesting history and story to tell. It’s a piece of the Palmetto State’s heritage, and you’ll be missing out if you don’t check them out.

Palmetto Dock Dogs will also be at the Classic, with demonstrations throughout the weekend. Watching these dogs go for a flying leap is a joy for kids and adults.

You’ll also see custom fishing rods at the FishStyx booth. Learn all about army marksmanship. See the latest ATVs, RVs, kayaks, backpacking gear, softball and other team sport equipment. Check out the reptile and falconry exhibit. See the latest farm and food plot machinery, cooking spices and products, bicycles, boats, paddleboards, and golf equipment. Set up trips with outdoor outfitters, and the list goes on and on. It’s truly an Everything Outdoors show, all in one place for three days. Don’t miss it!
