Turkey Photo and Video Contest Voting Begins

The NorthCarolinaSportsman.com Turkey Photo and Video Contest voting session is set to begin on Tuesday May 17 and will run for three days until May 19. Winners will be determined by our site users, who will choose from a selection of photos and videos entered during turkey season.Anyone can vote in this contest! After our users vote on the entries, the turkey photo and video contest winners will receive a free one-year subscription and a $25 gift coupon to the Outdoor Store good for all manner of Official Sportsman Gear.

Rhyan Thompson of Rockingham County, known as ‘stillhunter’ on the forums, had some great opening day success when he tagged this gobbler with an 11-inch beard.

Mike Renn of Warren County helped his daughter to harvest her first ever tom in 2011 and is shown in the photo titled Killer gets a Thunder Chicken.

Matt Yousey from Pender County, known as ‘baretrap01’ on the turkey hunting forum, was able to harvest this turkey kill for the photo contest.

Mitch Adams of Stokes County, or ‘knights4’ on the forums, had an unbelievable hunt with two buddies when they all harvested a gobbler. His photo contest entry is titled Opening Day Triple.

Only registered users of SouthCarolinaSportsman.com are eligible to win these contests. Anyone can enter their photos on the contest gallery, but only registered users will be selected by the Sportsman staff to compete in the voting.

The video contest will be decided by the most number of views, so this is the time to not only view the video gallery, but to share the link with others too.

Matthews Neems of Orange County made an entry for his 4/1 hunt with buddy Trent Frazier titled Double Trouble.

Jason Daniel of Davie County helped youth hunter Erin Mang to her first gobbler during the youth season, and got it all on video.

Zach Barclay of Granville County got his season off to a heart-pounding start and while hunting from a ground blind.
