Permit hunts are held in premium game areas
The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission provides permit hunting opportunities across the state. These hunts allow for managed participation and provide unique opportunities for special areas or species such as small game, big game, waterfowl, tundra swan and furbearer trapping.
This program also includes special hunting opportunities for youth and persons with disabilities. This site provides information about the permit hunt program and available opportunities.
Purchase or apply for permit hunting opportunities using one of the following options:
- Online using a VISA or MasterCard. Printer recommended.
- By telephone at 888-248-6834, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- In person, at a wildlife service agent.
