ThermaCELL, touted by some hunters as the world’s most-effective insect repelling device, is expanding its product line with the addition of the ThermaCELL All-Purpose Swivel Light, an LED light attachment that can be used with any ThermaCELL Appliance as well as a hat or belt. The attachment is compact, lightweight and provides a 15-foot beam of white or green light powered by batteries that last up to 30 hours. Plus, the light attachment swivels, shining light specifically where it is needed most.
“ThermaCELL products are designed to bring comfort to the outdoors. Our new light attachment is an extremely versatile tool that can serve as a flashlight, hat light, or utility light,” said Allegra Lowitt of ThermaCELL. “Now, users can have a light device by simply sliding on this lightweight attachment.”
ThermaCELL appliances create a 15×15-foot zone of protection that is up to 98-percent effective against mosquitoes and other biting insects. They operate on a single butane cartridge that heats a mat releasing allethrin, a synthetic copy of a naturally occurring insect repellent in chrysanthemum flowers. Each mat contains enough repellent for four hours of protection, and each butane cartridge will operate the unit for 12 hours.
