The raffle features more than $300,000 in prizes
The South Carolina Waterfowl Association is holding their Mega Conservation Education Raffle to help fund their mission, and they are giving away dozens of prize packages worth more than $300,000.
Proceeds from the raffle will be used to educate the next generation of natural resource conservationists by supporting SCWA’s programs and expansion of the largest Wildlife Education Center in the United States.
With a goal of annually hosting 2400 summer campers to Camp Woodie, 15,000 Camp Leopold campers during the school year, 20 wildlife management apprentices, and more than 15,000 youth and adults at the organization’s Outdoor Heritage events held at the Wildlife Education Center, this raffle is one of SCWA’s biggest fundraising events of the year.
Among the prizes are a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss 4WD truck, a 2025 Bentley 223 Pontoon boat, a 2025 Honda Pioneer 1000 Deluxe Crew side-by-side in TrueTimber Atera Camo, as well as various gift cards and fishing and hunting gear.
SCWA’s Wildlife Education Center provides hands-on training, offering invaluable real-world experiences to youth and adults.
Using money from past raffles, major donors and SCWA Chapters, in the past few years the organization has purchased a 140-acre tract of land, created a parade ground for flag ceremonies, recreation events and festivals, built an activity center and restrooms, added RV and tent camping sites, expanded their shooting sports facility, added a safety and security fence, and much more.
SCWA has achieved the Platinum Seal of Transparency Rating on Candid’s GuideStar, placing SCWA in the top 0.1 percent of charities nationally, demonstrating their commitment to its mission and reassuring donors of its high standards and firm approach to transparency.
