N.C. hunters must validate big game harvest report cards

Big game kills must be validated, then registered with NCWRC

With hunting season on the horizon, the NCWRC would like to remind big game hunters about validating their big game and registering those kills. These two steps are necessary any time we kill a big game animal in the state of North Carolina.

Big game hunters must validate their big game harvest report cards before moving their kills. Once you’ve validated your kill, you can take possession and transport it. Before skinning, cleaning, butchering, or dismembering the animal, you must first register your kill, the next step after validating your big game harvest report card.

The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission goes into more detail in the attached video.
