Third round of voting begins in Trail Cam Contest

This is one of the options for the third round of voting inthe SouthCarolinaSportsman.com Trail Cam Contest.

The second round of voting has begun in the 2011 Trail Cam Contest in which SouthCarolinaSportsman.com users name the monthly winner.

Four photos are in the voting round, which continues through Thursday morning (Nov. 3).

The Trail Cam Contest is open to all registered users of SouthCarolinaSportsman.com, with monthly winners earning a Sportsman prize package including a free one-year subscription to South Carolina Sportsman magazine and a $25 gift coupon to the online Sportsman Store.

The contest continues through Dec. 31.

This month’s finalists, chosen by site administrators, include an image of a huge 10-pointer entered into the contest by site member “logan reeves.”

The photo, showing the massive animal looking directly into the camera, was captured on Oct. 1 at 12:31 a.m. in Greenville County.

User “April” also is in the running with a photo she titled “Family Portrait,” which shows a young buck and doe seemingly kissing and a fawn standing beneath the arch of the adult deer’s necks.

“Got the whole family in this one,” she wrote.

New member “dogmanso64” is another contest option, with his photo of a really fine Aiken County 8-point buck staring into the trail cam.

Rounding out the monthly contest is a neat photo by “william tucker” that a young child sneaking up on a fawn.
