An infrared photo of a two big, velvet bucks standing feeding the edge of cornfield won the September edition of the NorthCarolinaSportsman.com Trail Cam Contest.
Site user ‘OCsouthernstyletile’ entered the winning photo in the contest, which runs monthly through Nov. 15.
The Trail Cam Contest win earns ‘OCbownhunter’ a free one-year North Carolina Sportsman magazine subscription and a $25 gift coupon to the online Sportsman Store.
The winning photo is part of a thread titled ‘Cornfield Bucks’ that was posted Sept. 11 by OCbowhunter, who has been a member of the NorthCarolinaSportsman.com forum since Sept. 14, 2010.
User “farmlife,” who joined Sept. 15, came in second with only four votes fewer than the winner. His photo titled “5 bucks” shows a bachelor group in the eastern part of the state.
The Trail Cam Contest is free and open to all registered users of NorthCarolinaSportsman.com.
