Matthew Hussey Wins First Trail Cam Contest

North Carolina Sportsman’s 2010 Trail Cam Contest is off to a great start thanks to lots of support from sportsman who are glad to share their trail cam photos. Matthew Hussey of Randolph County is the first trail cam contest winner for his entry titled “8-point” which actually shows four bucks together in a bachelor group.

Hussey also shared that this 8-point was the big boy on his property, and that he hoped to bowhunt for him this year, and put him on the wall. He plans to wait on the other three bucks to grow another year, and we wish him luck hunting all these nice bucks.

Hussey will receive an Official Sportsman Gear prize pack, with a sportsman logo t-shirt and truck decals, plus a one-year subscription to North Carolina Sportsman magazine.

The next trail cam contest period runs from Oct. 1 to Nov. 1, and anyone can enter by visiting the Web site, clicking on the contest banner and uploading your photo.

However, ONLY registered users are eligible to win one of the four trail cam contests in 2010, so remember to register today!

Following the final preliminary qualifiers, NorthCarolinaSportsman.com users will choose the overall winner from among the monthly winners in a one-week voting session.

The overall winner will recieve a grand prize package to be annnounced.
