A photo of a massive 8-point staring across a fence earned new user “clemson07” took the win in the first round of the 2011 Trail Cam Contest.
“I’m ready for this one …,” is all clemson07 would say about the monster buck, which was captured on trail cam on Aug. 13.
Clemson07, who joined the SouthCarolinaSportsman.com reports forum on Aug. 22, wins a complimentary one-year subscription to South Carolina Sportsman magazine and a $25 gift coupon to the online Sportsman Store.
His entry beat out finalists “branham07” and “Hunters Haven,” both new members to the site.
Branham07’s entry is somewhat of an abstract, with the rack of a great velvet buck framing the rest of the scene.
“This is one of the biggest 6-points I have ever seen,” he wrote of the Aug. 11 image.
Hunters Haven’s finals entry shows a really unique black-faced doe with a fawn.
“She’s a beauty with her dark reflection,” Hunters Haven wrote.
The Trail Cam Contest continues through Nov. 15, and is open to all registered members of the SouthCarolinaSportsman.com reports forum.
