Bag-A-Buck contest begins

Upload a photo when you kill a buck this season, and you could walk away with some great prizes as part of the South Carolina Sportsman Bag-a-Buck Contest.

Photo of your deer could win big prizes.

You could find yourself sitting in a stand on a premier guided hunt with a new bow or muzzleloader ranging a deer with a brand-new Leupold rangefinder next season – if you win the 6th Annual Bag-A-Buck contest that begins this month.

Yep, the contest grand prize winner walks away with a one-day hunt for two people at Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge just across the North Carolina border, a Leupold rangefinder, a new compound bow and a blackpowder rifle.

Angler’s Sporting Goods of Moncks Corner and Florence’s Irby Street Sporting Goods teamed to donate the bow, while Nichols Store of Rock Hill kicked in the rifle.

The contest is open to anyone who is a South Carolina Sportsman subscriber and a registered SouthCarolinaSportsman.com user.

Just visit the contest page, fill out the entry form and upload a hi-res digital photo of you and your deer, along with a short description of the successful hunt.

The photos will be galleried and available for viewing throughout the contest.

In addition to the grand prize, which will be awarded at the Palmetto Sportsman’s Classic next March, four monthly winners will be chosen: August-September, October, November and December.

Monthly prizes include Ammo Grips from God’A Grip, Tink’s Scent Kits, Realtree caps and Monster Bucks DVDs and a Plano storage box.
