Learn how to deal with coyotes through NCWRC workshops

Learn the right way to deal with coyotes at one of these coyote management workshops.

Workshops are free, require preregistration

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is holding several coyote management workshops in conjunction with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension and USDA Wildlife Services.

The workshops are free and open to the public, and the workshops are being offered in numerous locations throughout the Tarheel State. Attendees will learn about coyote behavior and biology, practical, non-lethal methods to prevent/reduce coyote conflicts, and laws and regulations regarding hunting and trapping coyotes.

Basic trapping techniques will be demonstrated at each workshop, and biologists will be on hand to answer any questions.

While the workshops are free, space is limited, so those wanting to attend need to preregister.
