Carolina hunter kills, cooks, and eats coyote

Most hunters across the Carolinas all agree that killing coyotes is a good thing for the local wildlife and the environment in general. But what do most hunters do once they kill one? Some hunters mount the ‘yote, and some skin and preserve the hide. But most just toss them in the woods for the vultures to eat.

But when Stan from SC Living Outdoors shot a coyote during deer season, he decided to cook it up and see what coyote meat tastes like. He found the results to be surprisingly good.

Have you ever eaten coyote meat?
