Day 3 of the 2025 Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament saw the first blue marlin of the tournament make it to the scales when BANKWALKER weighed in at 8:57 p.m. The marlin weighed 449.7 pounds and is currently the only blue marlin on the leaderboard.

Female angler Lizzie Montague boated the big fish at 5:50 p.m. after hooking up with it about three hours earlier.

“It’s been a lifelong dream of mine,” she said when interviewed about the catch.

The Fabulous Fisherman’s Prize, which totals more than $800,000 this year, is still up for grabs to the first team that weighs in a blue marlin weighing at least 500 pounds.

At the beginning of Day 4 of the tournament, SALLY GIRL leads the Overall Billfish Release category with 1450 points, followed by ANN WARRICK and DOC FEES with 1200 points each.
