Pro bass angler’s bank fishing tips

Brian Latimer loves ditching his bass boat for bank fishing

Many of us caught our first fish while bank fishing. But when we see professional bass anglers, we rarely picture them as bank-bound anglers. That goes for amateur anglers too, once they’ve gotten a boat and have been fishing that way for a while.

But some anglers always return to their roots. Who doesn’t love the simplicity and convenience of fishing while on foot? And most anglers realize that some fish are simply unreachable by boat in certain bodies of water.

Professional bass angler Brian Latimer of Belton, S.C. loves fishing, period. He loves fishing from his tournament bass boat, from aluminum boats, from kayaks, and even on foot. He shares his bank fishing tips with us in this video.
