It took 45 minutes to land the 78-pound wahoo
Capt. James Demyan, Jr. and his son Jody Demyan, both of Moore County, N.C. were fishing in the Fall Brawl King Mackerel Tournament on Oct. 24, 2021 when they caught a whopper wahoo.
“We were within 10 miles of Oak Island, N.C. when we caught this monster 78-pound wahoo on 20-pound test line. It took about 45 minutes to land. What an awesome experience. Thank you Dad!” said the younger Demyan.
