David Bailey wins 1-year king mackerel pass to Apache Pier

David Bailey caught a 23.6-pound king mackerel on June 7, making him the first angler to catch a king from Apache Pier for the 2021 season. Apache Pier awarded Bailey a 1-year king mackerel fishing pass for doing the honors.

Apache Pier is one of the top piers in the Carolinas for catching king mackerel, and this first one of the season should be just the start of a big flurry of kings.
