Gator speckled trout weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces
Hatteras Jack in Rodanthe, N.C. sent us this photo of Jacob Wray with a true gator of a trout! Wray’s 31 1/2-inch speckled trout weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces. He caught the fish on Friday, May 21, 2021. Wray was using a popping cork when he hooked the trophy speck.
