Anglers catching bull red drum with popping corks

The “old drum” are biting like mad in the Pamlico Sound. The big bull red drum often hit their peak in the fall in Pamlico Sound’s waters, but the bite is already tough to beat as August comes to a close.

Popping corks with big lures under them will entice these fish into biting. Chris Douglas of Carolina ALL OUT joins up with Capt. Scooter Lilley of CWW Inshore Charters to show us how it’s done.
