Catch a fish, win a Chevy truck

Catch a fish, win a Chevy truck! It's that easy in the Nov. 5 CCA NC Open Inshore Fishing Tournament.

What’s better than hooking into a slot-sized redfish during a nice fall fishing excursion? How about winning a truck for catching that fish?

You can do just that on Nov. 5 if you’re fishing in the North Carolina 2016 CCA Open Inshore Fishing Tournament presented by Regulator Boats. It’s this simple – catch a tagged fish, win a Chevy truck. Of course, it has to be the right tagged fish, but you can’t catch it if you aren’t fishing.

To win the truck, you must be registered for the tournament and bring the first CCA specially tagged fish to the weigh-in station, which is at The Boathouse Marina in Beaufort. The scales open at 1 p.m. and close at 4 p.m.

And that’s not the only way to win. Other prizes will be awarded for total weight of one red drum and one speckled trout.

The Captain’s Meeting, which takes place Nov. 4 at 5 p.m., will also be held at The Boathouse Marina.
