Grand Strand Boat and Sportsman Expo this weekend

Mike Eady will be putting on one of the fishing seminars this weekend during the Grand Strand Boat and Sportsman Expo at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Eady is a professional kayak angler and fishes the Grand Strand regularly.

Show will feature boat and tackle dealers, fishing seminars

If you’re in the market for a new boat, want to learn how to fish for certain species or want to restock your tackle box, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center is the place for you to be this weekend, Jan. 8, 9, and 10.

The Grand Strand Boat and Sportsman Expo will feature boat dealers, tackle shops, sporting goods resellers, ATV dealers, and fishing seminars.

Want to learn how to fish for kings? Cant. Jason Burton of Fly Girl Charters is giving a seminar you won’t want to miss. Interested in learning the ins and outs of inshore fishing up and down the Carolina coast? Capt. Mike McDonald will show you how in his seminar. Don’t think you have what it takes to fish saltwater from a kayak? Mike Eady will show you it’s not as difficult as you think and a whole lot more fun.

If you’re looking to take a road trip to Raleigh this weekend instead, the Raleigh Fairgrounds is hosting the 2016 Bass and Saltwater Fishing Expo Jan. 8-10. This show will also have fishing seminars to help you catch more bass, inshore fish, and offshore fish, and will feature guest stars Nick Gowitzka and Capt. Greg Meyer of the Fishin Frenzy, one of the boats on National Geographics’ Wicked Tuna television show.
