Carson Queen’s Swain County rainbow

Carson Queen’s photo with his big rainbow trout is the Carolina Sportsman Photo of the Month for June 2021. The young angler caught the big fish in Swain County on June 5, the opening day of North Carolina’s Delayed Harvest season for trout. The rainbow was 22 1/2 inches long and put a big smile on the young man’s face for good reason.
