When we set this trip up there was one goal we wanted to achieve, a trophy flathead for Sergio Galvan Jr.
Sergio did it in style with a 50-pound, personal best flathead and boat record fish!! Sergio is in the Air Force and is deploying, so how cool was it that he caught this monster on the Catch The Fever Patriot Hellcat!!! This was probably the most eventful 24 hours of fishing in my life, and I was thrilled to be able to share it with an awesome dude!
Sergio caught this fish on the Pee Dee River in Rockingham.
