Night-fishing for catfish

Catfish in the dark

A lot of catfish anglers prefer to fish at night, especially during the summer. This helps to beat the sweltering daytime temperatures, and it’s also just a great time to catch catfish. These fish love to feed throughout the night and that goes for all species of cats.

Austin Higgins and the guys with Rock Bottom Cats can’t get enough of fishing for cats at any time of day. They demonstrate in this video what it’s like to fish for them at night.

Rock Bottom Cats primarily fish for cats from kayaks and from the bank. They throw some camping in there too, and have some interesting videos on their You Tube channel. Click here to check it out.
